What can students do to develop their skills in this subject area?

  • Take part in extra-curricular activities offered at the Academy to ensure that skills are being developed and practised regularly.
  • Students to make themselves available to represent the Academy at all levels of school sport.
  • Take up opportunities given to them to represent district/county/national teams.
  • Take on a coaching/leading role in extra-curricular activities, especially during lower school practices.
  • Join sports clubs and teams in the community to develop skills and game play even further.
  • Take a leading role in assisting others in lessons, particularly those activities where the individual student is highly competent.
